About Us

Super Script was born in 2014, in a small office in Richmond, Melbourne. Initially we ran a short course, Master the Next Draft, designed to teach the oft-overlooked art of rewriting. We encouraged writers to go back to the blank page and rebuild their story from the concept up. By early 2015, by popular demand, Super Script expanded to include Co-Writing, Script Assessments, and many other services.
In 2015 we moved to the heart of Collins Street, Melbourne, and over the next 5 years, Super Script collected passionate writers and developed a diverse slate of amazing screen properties across a wide range of genres and budgets.
By the end of COVID-Year-One, with 2020-Hindsight, we knew we had to avoid the inevitable Kafkaesque 2021 Melbourne-Lockdowns. We shifted the business online and moved to Hervey Bay, Queensland, "The Land that COVID Forgot" (comparatively). We narrowed our focus, polished and pitched our strongest projects and when the borders re-opened, we took Super Script International.
Having recently sold three of our strongest screenplays, Super Script is back, ready to share everything we've learned since 2014 to a whole new generation of motivated and passionate screenwriters and storytellers.

Writing without an in-depth development process requires you to be great at every aspect of screenwriting craft at the same time: Concept, Story Structure, Sequence/Episode Structure, Theme, Dialogue, Conflict, Subtext, Exposition, Genre Conventions, Reversals, Action, Pacing, Tone, Set-Ups, Payoffs, and many others. Unless you're a creative genius, writing this way typically dooms a project to Development Hell.
Our Mission is to save you from the perilous road of writing without a map. Super Script's step-by-step custom development process will help you build from the foundations up and write a professional screenplay, one that doesn't immediately demand a rewrite.

Using Artificial Intelligence to write your screenplay is as creatively-fulfilling as watching someone else solve the Sunday Crossword on your behalf.
The greatest parts of Screenwriting are those moments of revelation, where you solve some complex problem, where you break-the-story, where you get so deep into the process that your characters come to life. The Zone.
A.I. robs you of the feelings of having earned it, through failure, struggle, and grim determination. The true joys of writing only come to those who have the courage to turn up the keyboard or page, to daydream and do the work. If you don't already have mastery of the Screenwriting Crafts there's no real way to discern if what the A.I. has spat out is good or simply cookie-cutter derivative garbage. The only way to truly improve your storytelling is through Creative Discipline.
